The Silicon Labs Si1145/46/47 combines an active optical reflectance proximity detector, an ambient light sensor, UV index sensor and an infrared LED into a single 10-Pin QFN package. Their dual port operation enables reliable proximity detection for moving as well as stationary objects.
The Si1145 has 1 LED driver with an Integrated IR LED - RS
The Si1146 has 2 LED drivers with and integrated IR LED - RS
The Si1147 has 3 LED drivers with and integrated IR LED - RS
With the Si1147, locate three infrared LEDs in an L-shaped configuration in your application to enable triangulation of an object and in turn, via host software, creating a gesture based user interface.
These modules have photodiodes which can be used to measure both visible and infrared light. Detect levels as low as 6 lux.
