The ADR431BRZ is a 2.5V XFET Voltage Reference with current sink and source capability featuring low noise, high accuracy and low temperature drift performance. Using patented temperature drift curvature correction technique and XFET technology, voltage change vs. temperature nonlinearity in the ADR431BRZ is minimized. The XFET reference operates at lower current (800µA) and lower supply voltage headroom (2V) than buried Zener reference. Buried Zener reference require more than 5V headroom for operation. The ADR431BRZ XFET reference is the only low noise solution for 5V systems. This reference has the capability to source up to 30mA of output current and sink up to 20mA. It also comes with a trim terminal to adjust the output voltage over a 0.5% range without compromising performance.
