The CS4245-DQZ is a highly integrated stereo audio codec an integrated analog input selector on the front end to accommodate up to six stereo audio sources. Also included is a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) capable of ±12 dB of analog gain in 0.5 dB step sizes with zero-crossing, click-free transitions to maintain sonic quality. One pair of inputs has a dedicated microphone pre-amplifier in its path that provides 32 dB of gain, and a low noise microphone bias supply is also available. The D/A converter includes digital attenuation, single ended inputs and outputs, and Popguard® technology for control of clicks and pops.
