Requiring a single 5V power supply, in normalread mode operation typical power consumption is only 8 mA and standby modesupply current is typically less than 10 μA. Any byte can be accessed in lessthan 55 ns, thus eliminating the need for speed-reducing WAIT states on highperformance microprocessor systems.
