Wurth Electronics MagI�C FISM Series Fixed Isolated Modules offers a simple design and an isolated stand alone solution. The modules are available in two different package sizes: SIP-4 (1kV) and SIP-7 (4kV). The series requires no external components for operation and achieves typically an efficiency of 79% to 80%. FISM modules integrate the switching power stage, control circuitry, transformer and capacitors all in one package.

The Wurth Electronics FISM series MagI³C power module features fixed input voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V and fixed 5 V output, and is designed to be particularly suitable for applications in the field of interface isolation/communication (RS232, RS485, CAN) to eliminate ground loops. Typical 24 V to 5 V conversion at 0.2 A achieves 80% for SIP-4 and 81% for SIP-7 efficiency.
