Mean Well RSD-30/60 Series DC-DC Converters feature a 4:1 input range and 4000VDC input/output isolation. The RSD-30/60 Series are rated for 30W and 60W, respectively, and are characterized by 5G anti-vibration ability, an operating temperature range of -40�C to +70�C, and 1U low-profile (25mm). The devices are equipped with a built-in constant current limiting circuit and protections for overload, short circuit, output over voltage, and input reverse polarity. The design of the RSD-30/60 converters complies with ITE standards (IEC60950-1 and EN55032) and railway certificates (EN50155, EN45545-2, and IEC60571). The converters are suitable for vehicle applications including railway, subway, metro rapid transit system, bus, leisure trailer, vessel, and more. The RSD-30/60 Series delivers efficiency up to 93%. The DC-DC converters are semi-encapsulated for the protection of the PCB, providing the basic ability of anti-moisture, anti-dust, anti-vibration, and heat dissipation. They can be cooled without any forced-air cooling equipment and still work at ambient temperatures up to +70�C. These features make the equipment ideal for applications in a harsh environment such as high temperature, dust, and moisture.
