The MAX6065AEUR+T from Maxim Integrated Products is a precision, low dropout, micropower voltage reference in 3 pin SOT-23 package. This three terminal device features a curvature correction circuit and laser trimmed thin film resistors result in a very low temperature coefficient of ±6ppm/°C and an initial accuracy of 0.2%. It typically draws 90µA of supply current and can source 5mA or sink 2mA of load current. This device offers a supply current that is virtually independent of the supply voltage (8µA/V variation) and do not require an external resistor. It is an internal compensated device which does not require an external compensation capacitor. Eliminating the external compensation capacitor saves valuable board area in space critical applications. The low dropout voltage, independent supply voltage and ultra low supply current makes this device ideal for battery operated and high performance low voltage systems.
