The LMR10510XMF/NOPB is a constant frequency PWM buck regulator IC that delivers a 1-A loadcurrent. The regulator has a preset switching frequency of 1.6 MHz or 3 MHz. This high frequencyallows the LMR10510XMF/NOPB to operate with small surface mount capacitors and inductors, resulting in aDC/DC converter that requires a minimum amount of board space. Even though the operating frequencyis high, efficiencies up to 93% are easy to achieve. External shutdown is included, featuring anultra-low stand-by current of 30 nA. The LMR10510XMF/NOPB utilizes current-mode control and internalcompensation to provide high-performance regulation over a wide range of operating conditions.Additional features include internal soft-start circuitry to reduce inrush current, pulse-by-pulsecurrent limit, thermal shutdown, and output overvoltage protection.
