18V Synch Step-Down DC/DC Converter
The XC9248A085QR-G series is a bootstrap-type Nch-Nch driver step-down synchronous DC/DC converter. The input voltage range is 4.5V to 18V and the maximum output current is 2.2A. Using the internal 0.8V reference voltage, the output voltage can be set using an external resistor ladder within a range of 1.0V to 12V. The control method is synchronous PWM control.The soft start time is set internally to 2.8ms (TYP.) but can be adjusted to a time longer than the standard internal soft start time by connecting a capacitor to the SS pin.An internal UVLO function forcibly turns off the two internal Nch FETs when the input voltage is 3.8V (TYP.) or less.Over-current, VOUT short-circuit, LX short-circuit, VOUT over-voltage and thermal shutdown protection circuits are all incorporated and the XC9248A085QR-G is available in a SOP-8FD package (6.0mm x 4.9mm x 1.55mm).
