Pericom PI4ULS3Vx04 bidirectional level translators are 4-bit configurable, dual-supply, autosensing, bidirectional-level translators that do not require a direction control pin. The B and A ports track two different power supply rails, VCCB and VCCA respectively. PI4ULS3Vx04's VCCB and VCCA rails operate independently. The PI4ULS3Vx04 Bidirectional Level Translators maximize design flexibility by allowing designers to set the VCCA value either greater than or less than the VCCB. In addition, each An and Bn channel can function as either an input or an output. An Output Enable (EN) input is available to reduce the power consumption. Designers can use the EN pin to disable both I/O ports by putting them in 3-state, which significantly reduces the supply current. The PI4ULS3V304 and PI4ULS3V504 offer high-speed, guaranteed data rates of 140Mb/s and 280Mb/s respectively. Both devices provide a high output current capability, which allows the translators to drive high capacitive loads such as most high frequency EMI filters. Both the PI4ULS3V304 and PI4ULS3V504 are 2kV system-level ESD capable and are ideal for push-pull applications.
