Semtech SC284AQ Dual Channel Buck Regulator is a 1.7A synchronous stepdown regulator designed to operate with an input voltage range of 2.75V to 5.5V. Each channel offers seven pre-determined output voltages via three control pins programmable from 1.0V to 3.3V. The control pins allow for on-the-fly voltage changes, enabling system designers to implement dynamic power savings. The SC284AQ is also capable of adjusting the output voltage via an external resistor divider. The SC284AQ is optimized for maximum efficiency over a wide range of load currents. The device operates in PWM mode with a fixed 2.5MHz oscillator frequency, allowing the use of small surface mount external components.
