Toshiba’s latest LDO technology has created an extremely low quiescent current LDO in the smallest 300 mA package available on the market. The LDO makes a great choice for low cost systems, saving cost and space. The low IQ current (0.38 μA typical) can preserve the battery life of single-cell Li-ion batteries, for example, when powering “always-on systems” or maintaining “standby mode.” Characteristics such as PSRR (70 dB) and transient response (<60 mV) are not sacrificed either, providing users with the ideal LDO with great performance, small package, and low quiescent current.
