Enpirion's ER3105DI Synchronous Step-Down Converter is a wide VIN synchronous buck regulator with integrated MOSFETs packaged in a 4mm x 3mm DFN package. The ER3105DI has a wide input voltage range of 3V to 36V and can support a continuous 0.5A load over the industrial temperature range of -40�C to 85�C. Because of the integrated MOSFETs, the ER3105DI provides an easy to use, high efficiency BOM count. The ER3105DI features a light load mode for improved efficiency at light load currents. The light load mode can be disabled if PFM mode is preferred. In addition, the ER3105DI has the ability to utilize either internal or external compensation. By integrating the MOSFETs and providing internal configuration options, minimal external components are required, reducing BOM count and complexity of design. With the wide input voltage range and reduced BOM, the ER3105DI provides an easy to implement solution for a variety of applications while giving superior performance. It provides a very robust design for industrial, battery, and FPGA power applications.
