The MCP73853T-I/ML integrates most of the external components (pass transistor, reverse blocking protection, current sensing) and combines high-accuracy constant voltage, constant current regulation, cell preconditioning, cell temperature monitoring, advanced safety timers, automatic charge termination, and charge status and fault indication in a space-saving 16-pin, 4 x 4 QFN package.The MCP73853T-I/ML is designed specifically for USB applications, adhering to all the specifications governing the USB power bus.
