The INA226-Q1 is a current shunt and power monitor with anI2C-orSMBUS-compatible interface. The devicemonitors both a shunt voltagedropand bus supply voltage. Programmable calibration value, conversion times, andaveraging, combined with an internal multiplier, enable direct readouts ofcurrent in amperes and power inwatts.
The INA226-Q1 senses current on common-mode bus voltages that can varyfrom0 V to 36 V, independent of the supply voltage. The device operates from asingle 2.7-V to5.5-V supply, drawing a typical of 330 μA of supply current. The device is specified over theoperating temperature range between –40°C and125°C and features up to 16 programmable addresses ontheI2C-compatible interface.
For all available packages, see the orderable addendum at theend of the datasheet.
