Intersil ISL681xx Digital Multiphase PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Controllers offer robust fault management, highly accurate regulation capability, and require minimal external components, simplifying the implementation of high performance multiphase regulators. These devices provide up to seven phases that are assignable in any combination across two outputs. These controllers combine with Smart Power Stages, like the Intersil ISL99227, to provide a scalable solution from 10A to 450A. The result is enhanced power optimization and more energy-efficient networking and communications infrastructure equipment. Intersil ISL681xx PWM Controllers utilize a proprietary linear synthetic digital current modulation scheme to achieve excellent transient response and ease of tuning while addressing the challenges of modern multiphase designs.
