Toshiba TLP3823 and TLP3825(TP1,F Photorelays are designed to replace mechanical relays in applications such as industrial equipment, inverters, HVAC equipment, building automation, and test equipment. These Photorelays are based on 8th generation UMOS trench MOSFET technology, enabling output currents that exceed 1A. The 100V TLP3823 offers a 3A drive current, and the 200V TLP3825(TP1,F offers a 1.5A drive current. Both devices offer an isolation voltage of 2500Vrms and low ON-resistance to ensure efficient operation. The rapid turn-on and turn-off times allow the TLP3823 and TLP3825(TP1,F Photorelays to be used in fast switching applications. The required triggering current is below 5mA for both Photorelays. These devices also feature a leakage current of less than 1�A when off. The mid-voltage, high current TLP3823 and TLP3825(TP1,F Photorelays are housed in compact 8-pin DIP packages, and are available with both Gull Wing (SMD) and wider creepage options for design flexibility.
