The LMZ10504EXT can accept an input voltage rail between 2.95 V and 5.5 V, and deliver anadjustable and highly accurate output voltage as low as 0.8 V. 1-MHz fixed-frequency PWM switchingprovides a predictable EMI characteristic. Two external compensation components can be adjusted toset the fastest response time, while allowing the option to use ceramic or electrolytic outputcapacitors. Externally programmable soft-start capacitor facilitates controlled start-up. TheLMZ10504EXT is a reliable and robust solution with the following features: lossless cycle-by-cyclepeak current limit to protect for overcurrent or short-circuit fault, thermal shutdown, inputundervoltage lockout, and prebiased start-up.
