Measurement Specialties MS5837-30BA High Resolution Pressure Sensor from TE Connectivity features an I2C bus interface for depth measurement systems with a water depth resolution of 2mm. This Measurement Specialties sensor module includes a high linearity pressure sensor and an ultra low-power 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter ADC with internal factory calibrated coefficients. The device provides a precise digital 24-bit pressure and temperature value and various operation modes that allow the user to optimize for conversion speed and current consumption. A high resolution temperature output allows the implementation of depth measurement systems and a thermometer function without any additional sensor. MS5837-30BA can be interfaced to virtually any microcontroller. The communication protocol is simple and does not require any programming internal registers. The gel protection and anti-magnetic stainless steel cap make the module water resistant.
