The EMC series of multiple channel temperature sensors have the benefit of on-chip beta compensation, resistance error correction and hardware thermal shutdown.
Beta compensation eliminates temperature errors that are caused by low, variable beta transistors.
Resistance error correction eliminates temperature error caused by series resistance which allows more flexibility in routing thermal diodes.
The sensors are ideal for notebook, desktop, industrial, embedded and environmental monitoring applications.
