Freescale FXTH871502DT1 Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS) are highly integrated TPMS with the smallest 7x7mm package footprint on the market. These devices provide the lowest transmitting power consumption (less than 8mA Idd). They also offer the largest memory size (8kB) currently available and a unique dual-axis accelerometer architecture. This TPMS solution integrates an 8-bit microcontroller (MCU), pressure sensor, XZ-axis or Z-axis accelerometer and RF transmitter. These devices, with pressure ranges of 100-1500kPa, supports medium and heavy duty trucks, buses and construction vehicles. These TPMS markets are mainly driven by improved safety and fleet management requirements.
