The ADT6401SRJZ-RL7 is a trip point temperature switch containing an internal band gap temperature sensor for local temperature sensing. When the temperature crosses the trip point setting, the logic output is activated. The ADT6401SRJZ-RL7 logic output is active low and open-drain. The temperature is digitized to a resolution of 0.125°C (11-bit). The pin-selectable trip point settings are 10°C apart starting from -45 to +5°C for under-temperature switching and from 45 to 115°Cfor over-temperature switching. These devices typically consume 30µA of supply current. The device used for monitoring temperatures from 45 to 115°C, the logic output pin becomes active when the temperature goes higher than the selected trip point temperature. When the device is used for monitoring temperatures from -45 to +5°C, the logic output pin becomes active when the temperature goes lower than the selected trip point temperature.
