MACOM's MADS-001317-1500 single is a galliumarsenide flip chip Schottky barrier diode.This device is fabricated on OMCVD epitaxialmaterial using a process designed for high deviceuniformity and extremely low parasitics.This diode is fully passivated with silicon nitrideand has an additional layer of polyimide forscratch protection. The protective coating preventsdamage to the junction during automatedor manual handling. The flip chip configurationis suitable for pick and place insertion. This devicewith can be attached with solder or conductiveepoxy. The high cutoff frequency of thisdiode allows use through millimeter wave frequencies.Typical applications include singleand double balanced mixers in PCN transceiversand radios, police radar detectors, and automotiveradar detectors.
