ams TMD3700 Proximity & Color Sensor Module is a digital color sensor, proximity sensor and IR LED in an optical module with 1.8V I�C interface. It features advanced Proximity Measurement, Digital Ambient Light Sensing (ALS) and Color Sensing (CRGB). The module has an operating range of 200 milli-Lux to 60 kilo-Lux allowing for a wide dynamic range and high sensitivity. The sensor incorporates an IR LED and factory calibrated LED driver in a compact, low profile package. The proximity detection feature provides object detection by photodiode detection of reflected IR energy. The Color and ALS detection feature offers red, green, blue, and clear light intensity data. The TMD3700 applications include color sensing, ambient light sensing, and mobile phone touch screen disable.
