The SS49E is a low cost linear hall effect sensor IC in 3 pin TO-92 package. This small and versatile sensor is operated by magnetic field from permanent magnet or an electromagnet. It is designed and manufactured for cost competitiveness. The linear sourcing output voltage is set by supply voltage and varies in proportion to strength of magnetic field. Low voltage capability of 2.7VDC and reduced current consumption of only 6mA at 5VDC makes this product energy efficient. The integrated circuitry features low noise output which makes it unnecessary to use external filtering. The SS49E interfaces with many electrical components without buffering. It also includes thin film resistors to provide increased temperature stability and accuracy.
