The A3214ELHLT-T is a micropower ultra sensitive pole independent hall effect switch with latched digital output in 3 pin SOT-23W package. Improved stability is made possible through chopper stabilization (dynamic offset cancellation) which reduces residual offset voltage caused by device overmoulding, temperature dependencies and thermal stress. The A3214 includes hall voltage generator, small signal amplifier, chopper stabilization, latch and MOSFET output on a single silicon chip. Advanced BiCMOS process is used to take advantage of component matching, very low input offset errors, small component geometries, low voltage and low power requirements. The north or south pole of sufficient strength will turn output on and in the absence of magnetic field, the output is off. The polarity independence and minimal power requirement allows this device to easily replace reed switches for superior reliability and ease of manufacturing while eliminating requirement for signal conditioning.
