The AT45DB021E is a 1.65V minimum, serial-interface sequential access Flash memory ideally suited for a wide variety of digital voice, image, program code, and data storage applications. The device supports the Atmel RapidS™ serial interface for applications requiring very high-speed operations and frequencies up to 70MHz. Its 2-Mbits of main memory are organized as 1024 pages of 256 or 264 bytes each. The flash memory also contains one SRAM buffer of 256 or 264 bytes each that receive data while a page in the main memory is reprogrammed. In addition, the SRAM buffer can be used as additional system scratch memory, and E2PROM emulation can be easily handled with a self-contained three step read-modify-write operation.
